A VerifyPass account allows you to easily prove that you are a member of the military community. Membership is free and it only takes a few minutes to enroll. 

When creating your account, VerifyPass will ask you to choose your affiliation and verify your military status. There are several ways they can verify your status including DoD databases, email address verification, and document uploads.

VerifyPass verifies 100% of Active Duty, Veterans, Retired, Disabled and Dependents.

Note: Each individual business defines who is eligible for their military discount. This may or may not include former service members and family members.

VerifyPass retains as little information as possible. After verification, any data they collected in order to perform the initial verification is deleted. 

Here's the data they must retain, so you don't have to re-verify:

• Name/e-mail
• Encrypted password (if applicable)
• Verified status (true/false)
• Time your account was created

Further, VerifyPass does not sell your personal information. The only form of revenue we collect is paid by the "Merchant" (business you’re shopping with), in exchange for VerifyPass confirming your eligibility for their exclusive discount. They provide the following information to the businesses you’re shopping with:

• Name/e-mail
• Discount code (if applicable)
• Group you're verified as
• Time you received your discount
